Governor Sani Praises President Tinubu at APC Campaign Launch in Kaduna

Thousands of supporters gathered at the Kaduna Stadium for the launch of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign. The event saw enthusiastic applause as Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, calling him a “promise keeper.” Sani highlighted the positive changes in Kaduna State and Northern Nigeria due to Tinubu’s leadership.

During his speech, Sani recalled a past visit by Tinubu to Kaduna in December 2022, where he faced serious security risks to campaign. Sani noted that Tinubu had promised to improve the Kaduna to Birnin Gwari road, which had been neglected for decades. He reported that significant funding has been allocated for the road’s reconstruction, which is currently underway.

Sani also spoke about improvements in security, stating that people can now travel to Birnin Gwari safely. He mentioned that many schools and healthcare centers that had closed due to insecurity are now open again. The governor pointed out that federal support has been crucial in restoring social services in the region.

He highlighted several federal projects, including an approved budget for a light rail project and the reconstruction of key roads. Sani noted that over 400,000 students in the Northwest have benefited from federal programs aimed at supporting disadvantaged children.

Concluding his remarks, Sani urged the crowd to vote in the upcoming January 2027 elections, emphasizing the importance of supporting leaders who deliver on their promises. He called on the electorate to show up in large numbers to back Tinubu’s efforts in continuing development in Kaduna and the North.
