APC Youths Praise Ooni of Ife for Supporting Young Nigerians
The All Progressives Congress (APC) youths in the South-West have expressed their appreciation for the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, due to his initiatives aimed at helping young Nigerians. This support was highlighted by APC South-West Youth Leader, Adesuyi Daramola, during the 2026 Olojo Festival in Ile-Ife.
Daramola noted the Ooni’s ongoing commitment to youth empowerment and economic growth. He described the monarch as a father figure who genuinely cares about the welfare and aspirations of young people, particularly in the South-West region.
According to a statement from Remilekun Oyelowo, the Media and Publicity Director for the APC South-West Youth Leader, Daramola praised the Ooni for his efforts in promoting entrepreneurship and creating job opportunities for young Nigerians. These initiatives help young people improve their lives and contribute positively to society.
Daramola also commended the Ooni for advocating responsible leadership. He emphasized the importance of political leaders prioritizing the welfare of citizens over personal interests. He described this message as timely and crucial for achieving lasting national development.
The Olojo Festival, according to Daramola, is an important celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Ile-Ife and the Yoruba people. He noted that its themes of thanksgiving, hope, renewal, and unity resonate beyond cultural boundaries, encouraging reflection on values that foster peace and social harmony.
He urged Nigerian youths to remain peaceful and productive, encouraging them to take part in community development. Daramola also extended his best wishes to those celebrating the Olojo Festival, praying for peace and prosperity across Nigeria.
