Anthony Joshua Predicts First-Round Knockout Against Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua has predicted that he will knock out Tyson Fury in the first round when they meet for their heavyweight boxing match at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on December 11.
This prediction came after Joshua faced Fury in London on Wednesday. This was their first meeting since their long-awaited fight was confirmed. The match had previously faced uncertainty regarding its location, with Joshua and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, advocating for it to happen in the United Kingdom.
Joshua emphasized the importance of holding the fight in Britain for the fans. He stated, “A knockout, if I am honest with you. Could be in the first round,” when asked about his expectations for the fight.
He also mentioned that he was determined to ensure the fight took place, even if his preferred UK venue had not been secured. Joshua said, “I wanted to do everything I could to make it happen, and part of that was it being in the UK, and we got that, so we are here.”
