Delta APC Leader Urges Support for Governor Oborevwori’s 2027 Re-election

Olorogun John Oguma, a leader in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, has called on residents to support Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s re-election in 2027. He believes that the governor’s work so far justifies a second term.

Oguma made this appeal on Sunday while speaking to journalists. He highlighted the governor’s MORE Agenda, which he claims has led to significant development throughout the state, from the capital, Asaba, to the riverine areas.

He praised Oborevwori as a reliable leader, stating, “Oborevwori is a man of his word. He promised MORE and he is giving us MORE.” Oguma pointed out various ongoing projects in the state, including improvements in health services and infrastructure.

According to Oguma, Delta State now has advanced medical equipment like magnetic resonance imaging machines in each of its three senatorial districts. He also mentioned the renovation of over 150 primary healthcare centers and a recent $400,000 grant from the Gates Foundation for health initiatives.

On infrastructure, he noted ongoing flyover projects in Effurun and Warri, as well as completed road projects that have transformed the state. He emphasized that these developments have positively changed the appearance of Warri and other areas.

Oguma described Oborevwori as a governor for all, who treats residents fairly regardless of their ethnic or political backgrounds. He urged voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards and rally support for the governor ahead of the upcoming election.

He concluded by stressing the importance of continuity in governance, saying, “In 2027, we will not experiment. We need Sheriff Oborevwori to finish what he started.”
