Pastor Oyemade Encourages Christians to Seek Divine Guidance for Victory

Pastor Poju Oyemade, the Senior Pastor and Founder of Covenant Nations in Lagos, has called on Christians to seek divine wisdom and revelation. He believes this can help them understand God’s direction and turn hopeless situations into victories. Oyemade made these remarks at the 22nd International Prophetic Prayer Conference in Kafanchan, Kaduna State.

During his speech, he shared seven principles of effective prayer. He emphasized that God can turn apparent defeats into victories, saying, “God is a God who commands light to shine out of darkness and brings victory out of what you consider as defeat.” He drew inspiration from the Book of Ephesians, highlighting Apostle Paul’s prayer for believers to receive wisdom and understanding from God.

Oyemade explained that God’s mercy can help believers see beyond their current struggles. He encouraged them to recognize that situations which seem dark may hold opportunities for divine help if they can discern what God is doing in their lives.

He also urged Christians to embrace the prophetic side of their relationship with God, reminding them that God’s methods of intervention may change over time. Oyemade advised against viewing any situation as hopeless, encouraging believers to seek spiritual insight to identify available opportunities.

Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, the Vision Pioneer of Throneroom Trust Ministry, also spoke at the conference. He called on Christian traditional rulers to create lasting legacies of faith that would benefit future generations. Kure prayed for the burdens faced by traditional leaders in Northern Nigeria, especially regarding peace and community well-being.

The conference included prayers for Southern Kaduna, focusing on seeking divine guidance for the upcoming general elections and promoting peaceful participation in the electoral process.
