Ikeja Electric Apologizes for Not Meeting Power Supply Goals

Ikeja Electric has apologized to its customers for not providing the expected minimum of 20 hours of electricity on November 3 and 4, 2026. This message was shared on the company’s official X account.

The company expressed regret for falling short of its service promise to customers on certain Band A feeders during this two-day period. Band A customers are supposed to receive at least 20 hours of power each day.

This apology comes as reports of electricity supply issues continue to affect some customers in the Ikeja Electric network. However, the company did not specify which feeders were impacted or the reasons for the disruptions.

In addition to the apology, Ikeja Electric warned residents against trading or building near electricity transmission lines, calling such activities dangerous. The company emphasized that areas close to power lines are high-risk zones and urged the public to maintain safety distances.

Ikeja Electric advised residents to prioritize safety and avoid activities that could put lives at risk. They encouraged the public to reach out for safety guidance through their official channels.
