Fulham Coach Arbeloa Urges Team to Focus for First Win Against Hull City
Fulham’s head coach Alvaro Arbeloa is focused on helping his team secure their first win of the Premier League season against Hull City this Saturday. Fulham is currently at the bottom of the league table, with just two points from six matches, which includes two draws and four losses.
Arbeloa, who is under pressure to keep his job, emphasized that his personal future is not his priority. He stated, “It is not about me, it is about the club, the players and the supporters.” Despite rumors about his job security, he described the week as normal.
The team came close to winning last weekend against Ipswich Town, leading at one point but ultimately losing due to two late goals. They also missed a victory against Manchester United before the international break when a late goal denied them a win.
Arbeloa acknowledged the team’s desire to reward their loyal supporters with a victory. He noted that the players have been committed in training and are focused on the upcoming match against Hull City. “They are looking for a game where they can get a win for the supporters; they deserve it because of their support,” he said.
A win against Hull would not only boost team morale but also relieve some pressure on Arbeloa ahead of another tough match against Coventry City next weekend.
