The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has congratulated Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, for being named to President Bola Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign Council for the upcoming 2027 general election.
The updated list of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign team includes several prominent figures, such as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke. President Tinubu will lead the council, with Vice-President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, serving as vice-chairmen.
In a statement, APGA’s National Publicity Secretary, Ejimofor Opara, highlighted Soludo’s leadership and his commitment to working with the Federal Government for the benefit of the people of Anambra and the Igbo community. Opara emphasized that Soludo’s motto, ‘Progressives are Working Together,’ reflects a true historical partnership.
Opara noted that this collaboration has already brought significant benefits to Anambra State, including federal support for infrastructure projects and economic development. He added that while APGA continues to lead in Anambra, the party supports Tinubu for President while running its own candidates for local legislative positions.
APGA expressed confidence that Soludo will effectively rally support for Tinubu’s campaign, leveraging his knowledge and popularity in the South-East. The party concluded with a strong message of unity and support for their leader and the presidential candidate.
