APC Digs Into Osun Election Results, Prepares Potential Legal Fight at Tribunal

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has begun analyzing official election materials following the governorship poll, weighing plans to challenge Governor Ademola Adeleke’s re-election victory at the Election Petition Tribunal.

Addressing party members and newsmen following the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) final announcement, Osun APC leadership confirmed that a team of senior legal experts and electoral analysts has been assembled to review certified true copies of polling unit results, accredited voter figures, and incident reports from across all 30 local government areas. The party stated that initial checks revealed noticeable voting discrepancies, procedural errors, and non-compliance with established electoral rules in several key locations.

While electoral authorities declared Adeleke as the winner after securing 511,067 votes to defeat APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji, who polled 444,815 votes, the opposition party maintains that a thorough judicial review is necessary to ensure the true will of the electorate is respected.

Urging calm across the state, APC leaders appealed to party supporters to remain law-abiding and avoid any form of public disruption. They reassured members that the party is taking all necessary steps through legal channels and will officially file a petition if the legal team finds solid grounds to challenge the results.
