iDICE Partners with Afreximbank for CANEX WKND 2026 in Lagos

The Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) Programme will serve as the official Deal Room Partner for Afreximbank’s Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEX WKND 2026). This event will take place in Lagos from November 5 to 8, 2026.

The iDICE Programme, backed by the Federal Government of Nigeria, aims to support young Nigerians aged 15 to 35 in the technology and creative sectors. It provides skills development, business support, access to financing, and necessary infrastructure. The programme has a budget of about $617 million and is implemented by the Bank of Industry (BOI) with help from various international development banks.

CANEX WKND 2026 will focus on the theme “One People, United in Culture, Creating for the World.” It will bring together creatives, investors, financial institutions, and policymakers from Africa and beyond. The iDICE Deal Room will facilitate meetings between 15 to 20 investment-ready businesses and potential investors, aiming for 40 to 50 discussions to generate future investment opportunities.

During the event, iDICE and BOI will also participate in discussions about financing and technology in the creative economy and showcase businesses supported by the programme at an exhibition stand.

Ife Adebayo, the National Coordinator of the iDICE Programme, emphasized that the Deal Room is designed to turn discussions into actual investments. He noted that the event will connect promising enterprises with financiers eager to support them.

Creative and tech entrepreneurs attending CANEX WKND 2026 are encouraged to visit the iDICE Exhibition stand for information on available financing and support options, including non-interest financing for eligible businesses.
