President Tinubu to Inaugurate Projects in Akwa Ibom and Rivers States
President Bola Tinubu is set to visit Akwa Ibom and Rivers States on Friday. During this trip, he will inaugurate various projects completed by local governors and attend political rallies organized by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Tinubu’s first stop will be in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State. There, he will commission several projects from Governor Umo Eno’s administration. These projects include a new International Terminal Building, an International Airport Hospital, and the Ibom Aviation Village at the Victor Attah International Airport.
Other projects he plans to inaugurate are the Airport-Okopedi Road, which connects communities in Nsit Atai and Okobo Local Government Areas, and Ring Road 3, which links Idoro Road to Ikot Ekpene Road through Uyo and Ibiono Ibom. Additionally, he will open the AKWA-GIS Office Complex, the Command and Control Centre, and the ARISE Palm Resort.
To welcome the President, Governor Eno has declared Friday a work-free day for residents. After his activities in Akwa Ibom, Tinubu will head to Port Harcourt in Rivers State on Saturday for another APC rally.
This rally will be Tinubu’s third since he started his re-election campaign last month. His visits aim to engage with political leaders, party members, and supporters, while also promoting unity and stability in the country.
Previously, Tinubu indicated that he would not attend every campaign event, citing his duties as the head of government and the need to attract investors to Nigeria.
