Rivers Governor Fubara Promises Strong Support for President Tinubu’s Visit

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has promised a big turnout of supporters for President Bola Tinubu’s visit to the state on Saturday. He expressed confidence that the presidential campaign rally will be a success.

Fubara made this statement during a pre-rally road walk in Port Harcourt, where he met with Philip Shaibu, the Director of the Directorate of Support Groups and former Deputy Governor of Edo State. The governor emphasized that this mobilization effort is crucial for building excitement ahead of Tinubu’s arrival.

He noted that the number of attendees would demonstrate the level of support for the President. Fubara also mentioned that peace has returned to Rivers State, creating a better environment for political activities.

Coordination for the campaign in the state is being led by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory. Fubara highlighted that the mobilization effort is a collaborative one that is already showing positive results.

Shaibu shared that similar pre-rally road walks have taken place in five other states as part of the preparations for Tinubu’s campaign. He explained that these activities aim to energize local residents and build excitement for the President’s visit, focusing particularly on support groups in Port Harcourt.

According to Shaibu, Rivers State has greatly benefited from the support of the Tinubu administration, and he is confident that the local support groups will successfully mobilize residents for the upcoming rally.
