Vitinha Calls for Cristiano Ronaldo’s Return to Portugal National Team

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vítor Machado Ferreira, known as Vitinha, has urged for Cristiano Ronaldo to return to the Portugal national team. He described the recent international break as “chaotic” and highlighted the team’s desire for a quick resolution to ongoing issues with coach Jorge Jesus.

After scoring in PSG’s 4-2 Champions League win over Manchester City, Vitinha spoke to TNT Sports. He expressed his hopes for Ronaldo’s return, saying, “I hope Cristiano Ronaldo returns with the national team. All I can do is hope he comes back and that everything is okay. We all want that; I hope it happens!”

Vitinha added, “It was a chaotic international break. Full of emotions. On my end, I just hope everything resolves for the best. That he returns and everything turns out fine. The truth is that’s what all of us want.”

His comments come after Ronaldo’s unexpected departure from the Portugal camp during the Nations League. The 41-year-old captain did not play in a recent match against Norway, despite warming up for about 30 minutes with the expectation of entering the game.
