Tinubu appoints a new management team for NDPHC

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new management team for the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC). According to a statement from presidential spokesman Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Engr. Jennifer Adighije has been named the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer. Other members of the management team include Engr. Abdullahi Kassim as Executive Director (Generation), Engr. Bello Babayo Bello as Executive Director (Networks), and Mr. Emmanuel Umeoji as Executive Director (Corporate Services).

Additionally, Mr. Omololu Agoro has been appointed Executive Director (Finance & Accounts), Engr. Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama as Executive Director (Strategy & Commercial), and Barrister Steven Andzenge as Executive Director (Legal Services).

The statement highlighted that the new NDPHC CEO, Engr. Jennifer Adighije, is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience across both the private and public sectors. She holds a master’s degree in Wireless Networks & Telecommunications from Queen Mary University of London, UK, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

“The President expects the new management team to leverage their expertise and experience to advance NDPHC’s mandate of efficiently managing the National Integrated Power Projects (NIPP),” the statement concluded.
