Sule Lamido Promises to Improve Jigawa State if Elected in 2027

Former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido has announced that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will work to improve Jigawa State by addressing what he calls the failures of the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

Lamido made this statement during the inauguration of the PDP Campaign Council at the party’s headquarters in Dutse, the capital of Jigawa State. He criticized the current APC-led government for regressing the state, especially in important areas like healthcare and education.

According to Lamido, residents are struggling to access basic healthcare and quality education. He noted that hospitals are lacking essential services and the education system is declining. “Virtually every critical sector is facing serious challenges,” he stated.

He emphasized that the PDP has capable and experienced members who can tackle these issues. Lamido declared that the APC has not met the needs of the people and promised that a PDP government would be transparent and focused on the welfare of all residents, regardless of their political views.

Additionally, Lamido assured that the PDP would run peaceful campaigns based on respect and understanding, without insults or intimidation. He aims to restore dignity to both Jigawa State and Nigeria as a whole.
