Otedola Expresses Pride in Tinubu’s Reforms After Paris Dinner

Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola shared his pride in President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday after they had a private dinner in Paris, France, the night before. Otedola highlighted Tinubu’s “bold and forward-thinking reforms” in a post on Instagram.

Otedola believes that these reforms have set the Nigerian economy on a path of sustainable growth. He pointed out several positive outcomes, including Nigerian companies being included in the FTSE Russell Frontier 50 Index, the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) reaching historic highs, and an increase in foreign direct investment. He also mentioned a more stable foreign exchange market and strong foreign reserves of about $55 billion.

In his Instagram post, Otedola stated, “I remain proud of you, Mr. President!” This shows his support for Tinubu’s leadership and the changes being implemented.

President Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria on Tuesday after a four-week leave that started on August 30. He first spent time in London before traveling to Paris, where he met with French President Emmanuel Macron and businessman Vincent Bolloré, known for his interests in various media companies.

Upon his return, Tinubu will celebrate Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary on October 1 in Lagos before heading back to Abuja later in the week.
