Nottingham Forest’s Gibbs-White and Milenković Uncertain for Arsenal Match
Nottingham Forest manager Oliver Glasner has shared that Morgan Gibbs-White and Nikola Milenković are uncertain for the upcoming Premier League match against Arsenal on Sunday at the City Ground.
Milenković has recently returned to training after being sidelined for several weeks due to a hamstring injury and bone bruising. Meanwhile, Gibbs-White is dealing with a minor muscle injury he picked up during a game against Crystal Palace.
According to an update from Nottingham Forest’s official website, Nicolò Savona and Igor Jesus will not be available for the match. Glasner noted that while Milenković has resumed training, the team will evaluate how he responds before deciding if he can play against Arsenal.
Glasner said, “Savona will still miss the game, and Igor (Jesus) as well. Milenković trained for the first time today, so we will see how he reacts.”
Regarding Gibbs-White, Glasner mentioned that he was doubtful for the match because he missed training for the entire week. However, he might participate in a training session the day before the game. Glasner expressed optimism about Gibbs-White’s availability, stating, “It doesn’t seem too serious, so there is a chance he will be available.”
Glasner also acknowledged the challenges of managing player injuries during a long season, especially after international breaks. He emphasized that different training styles can affect players’ bodies as they adjust to varying demands.
