NEWSCoronavirus: UCH Chief Medical Director recovers, tests negative


Prof Jesse A.Otegbayo, Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, who tested positive for Coronavirus has revealed that he is now negative.

Otegbayo made this known in a tweet on his official Twitter handle on Thursday.
The doctor had said his test became necessary after a colleague tested positive to the virus.

He added that he is already self-isolating as he is not having any symptom yet.
But on Thursday the doctor said he took another test and it came back negative.
He further thanked Nigerians for their support and prayers.

“Hello everyone, my repeat test just came in and I have tested negative to the COVID-19 Virus.
“ I thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.”
