Imodi-Ijebu Muslim Community to Honor 20 with Chieftaincy Titles

Tomorrow, the Imodi-Ijebu Muslim Community in Ogun State will honor 20 individuals with chieftaincy titles. The event will also include a fundraising drive aimed at raising N1 billion for education and empowerment initiatives.

The ceremony will take place at the Tititlayo Agbaje Memorial Comprehensive High School in Imodi-Ijebu. Among those receiving titles are Dr. Chief Abdulfattah Owolabi Olufowobi, who will be named Baba Adeen of Imodi-Ijebu, and Alhaji Tajudeen Adegboyega Adebanjo, who will be honored as Giwa Adeen of Imodi-Ijebu.

Other recipients include Alhaji Ishaq Sanni, who will receive the title Aare Adeen of Imodi-Ijebu, along with several others recognized for their contributions to the community.

Prominent figures expected to attend include Ogun State’s APC governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, and Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule. The event will also feature speeches from various leaders in the Muslim community.

The fundraising efforts will focus on improving educational opportunities and empowerment for the youth in the Imodi-Ijebu area. The Chief Imam of Imodi Central, Fadhilat Sheikh Mos’ud Akorede Titilope Raheem, will host the event.
