Former Super Eagles left-back Taye Taiwo joins a club in Cyprus

This will be the 10th club of the 35 year-old defender.

The active playing career of former Super Eagles left-back Taye Taiwo continues with a move to Cypriot top-flight club Doxa Katokopias FC.
Taiwo who has played for a host of clubs across Europe has signed a one year deal with the club.
The Association DOXA TH.O.I. KATOKOPIAS announces the start of cooperation with the Nigerian football player Taye Taiwo,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
He chose to fight with the number 33. We welcome Taye Taiwo to the Doxa family and wish him every success.

Doxa Katokopias finished ninth in the 2019/2020 season of the Cypriot First Division.
The club will be the left-back’s 10th club after playing for the likes of MarseilleAC MilanQueens Park Rangers etc.
Taiwo last played for Finnish side RoPS but left the club in 2019.
