Former Minister Sambo Supports Tinubu’s Second Term Ahead of 2027 Elections

Former Minister of Transportation Mu’azu Jaji Sambo has endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in the upcoming 2027 elections. He made this announcement while speaking to reporters at his home in Jalingo, Taraba State.

Sambo, who was the Taraba State Coordinator for Tinubu’s campaign in 2023, urged Nigerians to be patient with the government’s economic reforms. He acknowledged the challenges many are facing, including high living costs, but stressed that the reforms are essential for long-term economic stability.

He warned against halting these reforms before they are fully implemented, stating that they are crucial for the country’s economic recovery. Sambo believes that supporting Tinubu’s re-election will help solidify the progress made so far.

“We understand the struggles of everyday Nigerians, but the sacrifices we are making now are vital for future stability,” he said. He expressed confidence that with continued investment in infrastructure, the country would see lasting prosperity.

Sambo also called on political leaders and party members to better communicate government policies to the public. He emphasized the need to explain these policies in simple terms so that everyone can understand their benefits.

Looking ahead to 2027, Sambo is optimistic about the All Progressives Congress (APC), predicting that the party will achieve significant victories as the positive effects of Tinubu’s policies become clearer to the public.
