APC Chairman Encourages Ekiti Voters to Support Tinubu in 2027 Elections
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has called on voters in Ekiti State to back President Bola Tinubu and other party candidates in the upcoming 2027 general elections. He made this appeal during a rally in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday.
At the rally, Yilwatda was joined by Vice President Kashim Shettima and other party officials. They presented the party’s candidates to the public, emphasizing their commitment to the APC’s agenda for change.
In a statement from his media adviser, Abimbola Tooki, Yilwatda expressed happiness with the large turnout at the rally, viewing it as a sign of strong support for the party’s goals. He highlighted Tinubu’s achievements, describing him as a capable leader who has introduced important economic reforms.
Yilwatda pointed out the administration’s tax reforms, which aim to ease the financial burden on low-income earners and small businesses. He also mentioned the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which helps students by providing a monthly allowance to support their education.
He noted ongoing federal road projects in Ekiti, particularly the major routes connecting Ado-Ekiti and Akure, as proof of the government’s dedication to improving infrastructure and boosting the economy.
Yilwatda urged voters to support APC candidates in all elections, stating that their presence in the National Assembly and state legislature would help implement the President’s development plans. He encouraged party members to stay united and active as the elections approach, expressing confidence that the APC would strengthen its position in 2027.
