North-Central Governors Back Tinubu for Re-election at Major Rally

Governors from Benue, Plateau, Kwara, Kogi, Niger, and Nasarawa states have publicly supported President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for re-election. They praised his administration for making positive changes in the economy and other areas.

The support was announced at a large rally organized by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State. During the event, Tinubu’s wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, expressed hope that the current economic difficulties faced by Nigerians would improve if her husband is re-elected.

In his opening speech, Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule assured attendees that the state would back the APC’s presidential candidate and other party candidates in the upcoming elections. He expressed confidence in the party’s chances of winning.

Senator Tinubu highlighted various government initiatives, including improvements in healthcare, road construction, and a student loan program aimed at making higher education more accessible. She believes that another term for her husband would bring significant progress and hope for the country.

The rally attracted many APC leaders, party members, and supporters from across the North-Central region. However, some APC supporters from Benue State were involved in a car accident while traveling to the event. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported, and those affected were taken to a hospital for treatment.

The APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, had previously announced the rally following a meeting of North-Central APC leaders in Abuja.
