RJ Mitte, Star of ‘Breaking Bad’, Passes Away at 34

RJ Mitte, an American actor famous for his role as Walter White Jr. in the hit series ‘Breaking Bad’, has died at the age of 34. He passed away in Brownsville, Texas, on Monday. His publicist confirmed that he died by suicide.

His representative expressed deep sadness over his passing, calling him a beloved actor, philanthropist, and advocate for disability rights. Mitte had cerebral palsy, and he used his life experiences to portray his character in the Emmy-winning show.

Bryan Cranston, who played his father in ‘Breaking Bad’, shared his sorrow on Instagram. He recalled meeting Mitte when he was just 14 and praised his growth as an actor. Cranston noted that Mitte never let his condition hold him back, saying he refused to use it as an excuse.

Cranston expressed his shock at the news of Mitte’s death, saying, “All that promise and potential now is such a loss.” He added that he enjoyed their time together, both during and after the show.

Sean Reilly, Mitte’s representative, highlighted the actor’s efforts in promoting disability awareness and inclusion. Mitte served as an ambassador for organizations like United Cerebral Palsy and Shriners Children’s, which help people with disabilities and children needing special care.

He also founded The Mitte Foundation to support community initiatives. Through his work, Mitte aimed to challenge stereotypes and improve representation for people with disabilities.
