Seyi Makinde Blames Nigerian Leaders for Development Issues at Manifesto Launch

Seyi Makinde, the presidential candidate for the Allied Peoples Movement, has pointed to a lack of ideas among Nigeria’s leaders as a major reason for the country’s development problems. He made these comments on Wednesday in Abuja while unveiling his manifesto for the upcoming 2027 general elections.

The Oyo State Governor stated that his manifesto includes solutions to Nigeria’s economic, political, social, and institutional challenges. He believes that despite the country’s rich natural and human resources, poor leadership has hindered progress.

Makinde explained that the manifesto was created after he consulted with Nigerians from all six geopolitical zones. This included town hall meetings where citizens shared their hopes and expectations for the future of the country.

He emphasized the importance of listening to the people to craft effective solutions. The manifesto aims to address the pressing issues facing Nigeria today.
