Lagos State Governor, Tinubu, Appoints Ajuri Ngelale to Key Communications Role

The President encourages him to leverage his extensive experience in the new role.

In a recent announcement, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially approved the appointment of Ajuri Ngelale as the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity. The news was conveyed through a statement issued by Willie Bassey, the Director of Information in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, on Monday.

Effective from July 31, 2023, the appointment will continue until the end of this administration, unless the President decides otherwise. In his new capacity, Ngelale is expected to draw upon his extensive experience to excel in his duties, as urged by the President.

Notably, Ajuri Ngelale previously served as a Senior Special Assistant for Public Affairs in the Presidency during the immediate past government of Muhammadu Buhari. His past experience in public affairs is expected to be a valuable asset in his new role as Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
