King Charles III And Camilla crowned King and Queen at Westminster Abbey

The coronation ceremony of King Charles III was held at Westminster Abbey in the United Kingdom, marking the first such event since 1953. The ceremony was witnessed by approximately 2,200 attendees, including members of the Royal Family, celebrities, faith leaders, and heads of state from the Commonwealth.

Camilla was also crowned as Queen during the event. The newly crowned King and Queen later greeted crowds from the balcony of Buckingham Palace during a procession in their Gold Coach.

It is noteworthy that King Charles III ascended to the throne following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on September 8, 2022, at Balmoral Castle in the United Kingdom.
