Kano Governor Promises Positive Campaign for APC Ahead of 2027 Elections

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has announced that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will run a campaign focused on its achievements and future plans, avoiding personal attacks. He made this statement during the launch of the APC’s campaign team for the 2027 general elections in Kano.

Yusuf stated that the party aims to showcase what it has accomplished and listen to the needs of the people. He urged the campaign team to work hard to ensure that Kano produces the highest number of votes for President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming elections.

The governor described the campaign team members as political supporters of the party and encouraged them to mobilize support for APC candidates. He also advised them to stay confident and not be intimidated by opposition parties.

Yusuf reassured party members who were not included in the initial list of campaign team appointments that more opportunities would arise. He stressed the importance of unity and collective effort to strengthen the party’s chances in the elections.

During the inauguration, several key appointments were made, including Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo as Director-General of the campaign council. Other notable appointments included Hon. Bala Muhammad Gwagwarwa as First Deputy Director-General and Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure as Assistant Director-General for Women Affairs.

This inauguration is a significant step for the APC as it prepares to engage voters and solidify its political influence in Kano ahead of the 2027 elections.
