Delta APC Criticizes Okowa’s ₦71 Billion Supplementary Budget

The Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has strongly criticized Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his plans to request the approval of a ₦71 billion supplementary budget from the State House of Assembly, just weeks before the end of his second tenure. In a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo, Esq., the party expressed deep shock at the governor’s request, labeling it as a clear display of moral bankruptcy and wickedness towards the people of Delta State.

The APC condemned Governor Okowa for allegedly securing a third term agenda by imposing his chosen candidate, Sheriff Oborevwori, as the next governor through political subterfuge. The party viewed the governor’s recent supplementary budget request as an added insult to injury, considering the substantial amount being sought at such a critical time.

The Delta APC’s statement reflects their strong disapproval of Governor Okowa’s actions and underscores their concerns about the state’s governance and the welfare of its citizens.
