New Principal Officers Unveiled in 10th House of Representatives by Speaker Abbas
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, made an announcement on Tuesday, revealing the new principal officers of the 10th House of Representatives. The appointed officials include Julius Ihonvbere (APC – Edo) as the House Majority Leader, Halims Abdullahi (APC – Kogi) as the Deputy Majority Leader, Bello Kumo (APC – Gombe) as the Chief Whip, and Adewunmi Onanuga (APC – Ogun) as the Deputy Chief Whip.
In addition, Abbas read a letter from the Minority Caucus that listed the names of the principal officers for the minority party. According to the letter, Kingsley Chinda (PDP) was appointed as the Minority Leader, Aliyu Madaki (NNPP) as the Deputy Minority Leader, Ali Isah (PDP) as the Minority Whip, and George Ozodinobi (Labour Party) as the Deputy Minority Whip.
