Governor Sani Praises Speaker Abbas for New Projects in Sabon Gari
Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has praised Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, for initiating important development projects in Sabon Gari Local Government Area. This recognition came during the launch of several projects, including a new 20-bed primary healthcare center.
Governor Sani, who was represented by Dr. Abdulkadir Meyere, the Secretary to the State Government, highlighted Abbas’ commitment to improving living conditions through infrastructure and support programs. He encouraged locals to back the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure ongoing projects are completed and development continues.
While acknowledging that some projects might not finish before the 2027 elections, Sani urged residents to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election and Abbas’ role as Speaker to facilitate project completion. He emphasized that ongoing support for the APC is crucial for sustained development in the area.
During the event, Abbas detailed the projects aimed at meeting essential needs and enhancing public services. These include a new 10-classroom block at Saidu Primary School, a proposed secondary school, a National Open University study center, and a diagnostic center at Isa Chikaji Primary Healthcare Centre. Additionally, a police station is planned for the Queen Elizabeth Area Command.
Abbas noted that the new educational facilities would create better learning environments and opportunities for students. He stressed the importance of qualified medical staff and equipment for the healthcare center and called for cooperation between security agencies and residents to improve safety.
He also urged contractors to adhere to project specifications and timelines, and asked the community to protect the new facilities and ensure public funds are used properly. Abbas reaffirmed his dedication to facilitating more development projects in the future.
Other speakers, including Sadiq Ango Abdullahi, the local federal representative, and Jamilu Albani, the Chairman of Sabon Gari Local Government, also commended Abbas for his efforts in securing resources for local development, urging continued support for the APC to maintain progress.
