Senator Dafinone Praises Tinubu’s Efforts to Improve Nigeria Ahead of 2027 Elections

Senator Ede Dafinone, who represents Delta Central, believes President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has accomplished more to improve Nigeria than any of his predecessors in the last 16 years. He made this statement during a meeting with youth leaders from 250 communities in Delta State on Saturday.

Dafinone argued that Tinubu’s tough economic policies are necessary to address long-standing problems and set the country on a path to sustainable growth. He acknowledged that while some of these policies have caused hardship for many Nigerians, they are essential for the nation’s recovery and future prosperity.

During the meeting at Wetland Hotel in Ughelli, Dafinone urged attendees to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2027 elections. He praised both Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for their performance and emphasized the importance of political cooperation to continue development.

The senator encouraged youth leaders to back APC candidates at all levels, from the presidency to local government. He believes that a united political front will help attract infrastructure projects and job opportunities to the Urhobo communities.

Dafinone also spoke about his re-election bid, assuring constituents that his experience in the National Assembly would help bring more benefits to the area. He stressed his commitment to representing Urhobo interests and dismissed claims from opponents that he would neglect local projects.

He called for unity among youth leaders and active participation in the political process, stating that grassroots involvement is crucial for the region’s development. Dafinone’s message was echoed by other APC leaders at the event, who warned against supporting opposition parties.
