Opposition Collapses in Ekiti as PDP, Accord, and ADP Leaders Join Forces to Back President Tinubu

In a major political realignment in Ekiti State, leaders and members across key opposition parties—including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Accord Party, and Action Democratic Party (ADP)—have declared their full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The coalition of opposition figures was rallied by prominent Ekiti political leader and former governorship candidate, Dr. Oluwole Oluyede, who announced the decision during a gathering of political stakeholders in Ado-Ekiti.

Explaining the rationale behind the sudden alignment, Oluyede stated that national progress requires setting aside partisan disputes to support economic and structural reforms aimed at securing Nigeria’s long-term stability. He noted that President Tinubu has demonstrated courage in tackling deep-rooted national economic challenges, making it imperative for patriotic leaders to rally behind the administration.
