U3 Federal Constituency Endorses Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori for 2027 Reruns

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, over one thousand youths from the U3 Federal Constituency in Delta State have thrown their political weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, endorsing them for re-election.

The endorsement was the highlight of the U3 Youth Summit held recently in Udu, which drew hundreds of young people from the three component Local Government Areas: Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu (U3). The gathering culminated in a unanimous vote of confidence passed in both leaders.

The political significance of the event was underscored by leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who were present. They asserted that the endorsement signaled a clear mandate from the youth demographic, with some declaring there was “no vacancy” in Aso Rock or the Delta State Government House until after the next election cycle.

The motion was not limited to the executive heads; the youths also endorsed their Federal Representative, Hon. Francis Waive, for another term. Hon. Waive, in turn, praised President Tinubu’s bold economic reforms and Governor Oborevwori’s consistent support for federal initiatives in the state, including the ongoing development of the Federal Medical Centre. He also pledged more youth empowerment initiatives to be captured in the upcoming 2025 budget.

The resolution from the U3 Youth Summit emphasizes the growing political consciousness and unity among the region’s youth, positioning themselves as a critical bloc whose backing could be decisive in the 2027 polls.
