President Bola Tinubu is set to begin a three-day official visit to Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday. This was disclosed in a statement on Tuesday by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity. Ngelale announced that Tinubu will depart from Abuja for Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea, in response to an invitation from President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

During the visit, President Tinubu aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea. Upon his arrival, he will meet with President Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa, where the two leaders will hold discussions and sign agreements, particularly focused on oil, gas, and security.

The President will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other key members of his cabinet who will participate in the signing of agreements and explore opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation.
