JAMB Opens 2026 UTME Slip Printing Portal; Candidates Urged to Check Exam Venues Ahead of April 16 Kick-off as Board Warns Against ‘Score Upgrading’ Scams

The countdown to the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has “flipped the script” into its final stage, with JAMB directing all registered candidates to head to the printers. The board’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, emphasized that the “Solution” to avoiding exam-day confusion is early preparation. With the national exams set to commence on April 16, the “Renewed Hope” for university admission now depends on candidates identifying their CBT centers and scheduled sessions.

Printing the slip is a straightforward process designed to be a “Tsunami” of efficiency. Candidates simply need to visit the official JAMB website, click on the “2026 UTME Slip Printing” tab, and enter their identification details. For those who prefer the mobile route, the JAMB e-Facility portal also provides a direct download option. The board has “tinkered” with the portal to ensure it handles the high traffic expected this week, though candidates are advised to print their slips early to avoid the last-minute rush.

Security remains a “Drill or Drop” priority for the 2026 cycle. JAMB has reiterated that “voodoo” score-upgrading services advertised on social media are complete frauds. “Any candidate caught negotiating with scammers will have their results withheld or registration cancelled,” the board warned. Additionally, the use of biometric verification is mandatory; if your thumbprint doesn’t match at the center, you will not be allowed to enter the “digital trenches” of the computer-based test.

As millions of students across Nigeria prepare for the Thursday start, the message from JAMB is one of strict discipline. “Know your center, arrive early, and bring nothing but your slip,” the board concluded. For the 2026 batch, the path to the lecture hall officially begins with a single sheet of paper.
