Building the Future: Ondo University to Become a Center of Excellence for Teacher Education

The Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED), Ondo, is poised to undergo a major transformation, with its new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Bayode Popoola, announcing a strategic vision to position the institution as a leading hub for teacher education in Africa. The declaration, made shortly after his assumption of office as the university’s first substantive VC, signals a new era for the institution.

Professor Popoola’s vision is a direct response to the national demand for a more robust and professional teaching workforce.
