Bauchi Council Chairperson Confirms Loyalty to APM Amid Rumors

The Executive Chairperson of Dass Local Government Council in Bauchi State, Muhammad Abubakar Jibo, stated on Wednesday that he has no intention of leaving the Allied People’s Movement (APM) for any other political party, including the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Jibo addressed rumors circulating on social media about his potential switch to the APC, calling them false and the work of those who are threatened by APM’s rising popularity in the state. He emphasized his commitment to APM, saying, “As an educated person and a lover of new Bauchi, I cannot leave APM for APC, which has no projects to show in Bauchi State.”

He expressed pride in the development projects that have taken place in Bauchi since 2019, noting that his local government area has benefited from over 100 kilometers of roads and various other projects. He urged people to observe the developments across all 20 local government areas in the state, reinforcing his belief that APM is the right party to support.

Jibo reaffirmed his loyalty to APM and pledged to work hard to ensure the party’s success in the upcoming 2027 general elections. He encouraged his supporters and the people of Dass to ignore the rumors and focus on strengthening APM in the region.
