Elon Musk Plans to Give SpaceX Shares to Every Child in America

Elon Musk, the billionaire founder of SpaceX, announced on Monday that he plans to give a share of his rocket company to every child in the United States. He shared this news on social media platform X, stating, “Next year, I will give one of my SpaceX shares to every kid in America.” Musk did not provide details on how this initiative will work.

According to recent data, there are about 73 million children under 18 in the U.S. Musk owns 38 percent of SpaceX, as reported by Forbes.

This announcement follows a recent promise by former President Donald Trump, who said he would give $5,000 to every American adult if his party wins in the upcoming midterm elections.

SpaceX recently made headlines for achieving the largest initial public offering ever, raising $85.7 billion in June. The company also celebrated a significant milestone when its Starship rocket successfully reached orbit for the first time in September, an important step in Musk’s plans for Mars exploration.
