Odogwu Asaaba’s Wife Breaks Silence, Denies Husband Raped or Killed Deceased TikToker

The wife of popular Delta State content creator Ifeanyi Ogbonna, widely known as “Odogwu Asaaba”, has broken her silence to defend her husband against serious criminal allegations stemming from the tragic death of 20-year-old Favour Agbro.

Speaking in a video shared on her husband’s social media handle, the mother of four strongly rejected accusations that Ogbonna sexually assaulted or killed the young TikToker. However, she openly admitted that her husband engaged in an extramarital affair with the deceased, insisting that the relationship was consensual and involved no physical assault or forced encounter.

Addressing critics and online commentators, she called out social media users and bloggers who circulated pictures of her and her four children in an attempt to harass and silence her. She cautioned the public against passing judgment online, reminding viewers that “social media is not a courtroom” and affirming that she stands fully behind her husband of eight years as the legal process unfolds.

Ogbonna was arrested by the Delta State Police Command after Favour’s family filed an official petition detailing her account of an alleged assault at an Asaba hotel, where she had traveled under the impression of receiving content monetization training. The case took a tragic turn after the young woman ingested a toxic substance and subsequently died in the hospital. While law enforcement authorities maintain that Ogbonna will be charged in court following their investigation, his wife reiterated that her husband is innocent of murder and rape and will present his side of the story in due course.
