The Group, represented by key subsidiaries including Dangote Cement, Dangote Sugar, and Dangote Salt, showcased its comprehensive product line while focusing on business development support for micro and small businesses.
Ahmadu Dan-Magagi, the Regional Sales Director for the company in Kano, reiterated the Group’s stance that its participation transcends mere commerce.
“For us, this Trade Fair is an opportunity to directly engage our true partners—the SMEs—who are the lifeblood of our economy,” Dan-Magagi stated. “We are committed to providing them with the necessary tools, technical support, and accessible product pricing to help them leverage our value chain for their own growth.”
Trade Fair Rates to Boost Profitability
To further support SMEs and distributors, Dangote utilized the platform to market its diverse range of products at special, discounted trade fair rates. This initiative is aimed at helping entrepreneurs increase their profit margins and compete effectively in the challenging economic climate.
The Kano International Trade Fair serves as a crucial economic barometer for Northern Nigeria, and Dangote’s sustained involvement highlights its belief in the region’s massive economic potential. The support initiative focuses on transferring business acumen and technical knowledge to help local enterprises scale up operations and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s socio-economic development.
